Oh, Valentine’s Day!! It’s a day where love in the air, couples abound are twitterpated and singles across the country weep at the thought of being “alone.” Well, no one is ever really alone on VDay. This day is really what you make it. In 2007, I had the best Valentine’s as a single woman because I surrounded myself with wonderful friends. And this year, my boyfriend and I are celebrating in a unique fashion to avoid crowded restaurants and cliche chocolate hearts. Although, if going out to eat is your thing and spoiling your significant other with chocolates is something you want to do, please do!! There is nothing wrong with the tradition of Valentine’s day.
So whether you’re taken or single wanting to mingle, please remember this on Valentine’s day…
FACT: Traces of foods someone else might be allergic to can stay on the lips for as many as 8 hours after it’s consumed.
Which means, even if my boyfriend brushes his teeth ten times over, he’s not exactly washing or rinsing his lips. And afterall, it’s those lips of his I wanna kiss, not his teeth. So beware!! To avoid this problem altogether this year, ask your significant other to skip on foods you’re allergic to. If they really want you to be their Valentine, it won’t be a big deal. Nick is so use to it!!
Have a Happy Valentine’s day!! And safe kissing everyone!!
P.S. If you’re a square bear like Nick and don’t know what “twitter pated” is, check out the video below. Enjoy!!
